The Creatures of Leisure Surf Ears 4.0 in Coral Sky are the surfer's earplugs — engineered to block cold water and wind while keeping your hearing open in the lineup, so you can prevent surfer's ear (exostosis) without feeling isolated from the ocean around you.

- ACS Acoustic Membrane — Surf Ears' signature filter allows sound to pass through while sealing out water; you can hear sets coming, talk to friends, and stay aware of the lineup — unlike foam plugs that block everything
- Watertight Seal — precision-molded flanges create a reliable barrier against cold water and wind, the two primary triggers of exostosis (bony growth in the ear canal) in surfers
- Three Flange Sizes Included — Small, Medium, and Large ear canal inserts included so you can dial in the fit; most adults use Medium

Surfer's ear develops gradually over years of exposure to cold water and wind — by the time most surfers notice symptoms, the bony growth already requires monitoring. Surf Ears 4.0 is one of the most effective prevention tools available precisely because surfers will actually wear them. The acoustic membrane makes the in-water experience feel natural rather than muffled, and the Coral Sky colorway adds a practical visibility advantage when you're hunting for them in the sand after a session.
Sizing & Fit: Start with Medium flanges. The plug should sit securely in your ear canal with a complete water seal — you should feel a slight pressure change. If it feels loose or lets water through, try Large. If uncomfortable, try Small.
Care: Rinse with fresh water after every session. Store in included case. Inspect flanges periodically and replace if cracked or deformed to maintain proper seal.

Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

We currently offer shipping within the United States.
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.

Some items require special handling and do not qualify for free shipping or standard prepaid rates. These may include, but are not limited to:

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.
