The O'Neill Men's HyperFreak 4/3mm+ is O'Neill's pinnacle cold-water suit — a precision-engineered fullsuit built for surfers who demand maximum warmth without sacrificing the flexibility needed to perform in powerful winter surf. With F.U.Z.E. chest zip closure technology, TB3X thermal lining, and 360° Barrier flush protection, the HyperFreak 4/3mm+ is the weapon of choice for cold lineups from 50–62°F.
The F.U.Z.E. closure system is the centerpiece of the HyperFreak's design — a patented chest zip mechanism that creates a virtually seamless front face while locking out water at every entry point. The 360° Barrier system provides full-circumference flush protection at the collar and cuffs for a watertight seal. TB3X — O'Neill's most advanced thermal neoprene — lines the arms and shoulders for high-stretch warmth in the paddle zone, while TB3 covers the full body and legs for core heat retention. An additional PLUS 0.5mm panel in high-exposure areas adds targeted thermal boost where you need it most. Minimal Seam construction combined with fully taped GBS seams eliminates water entry paths while keeping the suit light and friction-free. Aqua Alpha neoprene delivers four-way stretch performance for unrestricted movement in heavy, fast surf.

Sizing: O'Neill wetsuits run true to surf sizing. The HyperFreak is a performance-fit suit — it should feel snug throughout with no excess material in the torso, arms, or legs. Refer to the O'Neill size chart and if you're between sizes, consult measurements rather than defaulting to a size up.
Care: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each use. Hang to dry inside-out away from direct sunlight. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or use hot water. Store flat or on a wide hanger to preserve neoprene shape.

Order Processing
Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Domestic Shipping
We currently offer shipping within the United States.
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.
Oversized Items
Some items require special handling and do not qualify for free shipping or standard prepaid rates. These may include, but are not limited to:

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.

Delivery Times

Tracking
