Octopus Daily Grinder Shortboard Day Bag — a purpose-built tarpaulin board bag with 3mm padding designed for daily short trips between home, car, and lineup.

The Daily Grinder is built for exactly what the name says — daily use. Tarpaulin shell sheds water fast, the YKK zips hold up to salt and sand exposure, and the 3mm padding keeps your board safe from parking lot dings and car boot corners. Available in 5'8 and 6'0 to cover the most common shortboard lengths in any quiver.
Sizing: Choose the size matching your board length. The 3" oversize cut means your board slides in cleanly with room for a fin key and wax. A 5'10 board fits comfortably in the 6'0 bag.
Care: Rinse with fresh water after each use. Air dry fully before storing to prevent interior mildew. Leave zip slightly open when dry-storing to allow airflow.

We currently offer shipping within the United States.
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.

Some items require special handling and do not qualify for free shipping or standard prepaid rates. These may include, but are not limited to:

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.
