The XCEL Comp X Hooded 4.5/3.5mm is the cold-water weapon of choice — an integrated hood, Channel Flex construction, and TDC infrared technology combine for maximum warmth without sacrificing the stretch you need when the surf gets serious.
- Integrated thermal hood — built-in hood eliminates the flush point at the neck for full head-to-toe warmth without a separate hood to manage
- Channel Flex exterior — lightweight hydrophobic grid neoprene for unrestricted paddling and surfing in the coldest conditions
- Thermo Dry Celliant (TDC) infrared interior — rare-earth mineral fiber that converts body heat into infrared energy, boosting circulation and sustained warmth
- Fusion X fully-sealed seam tape — completely sealed throughout with a one-piece front and back panel design
- Front zip with magnetic closure — secure, watertight entry even with cold, numb hands
- Thickness: 4.5/3.5mm — ideal water temp 48–55°F / 9–13°C
Cold water doesn't mean cold surfing. The integrated TDC-lined hood keeps your head warm without the restriction of a separate hood, and Channel Flex ensures your arms move freely from first paddle to last takeoff. This is the suit for serious winter sessions when you want zero excuses for cutting it short.
Sizing & Fit: Runs true to XCEL sizing. Hooded suits fit intentionally snug — especially around the hood — so the seal works properly. If you have a larger head circumference, consider sizing up. Check XCEL's full size chart for height, weight, and head measurements. A loose hooded suit will flush cold water through the neck seal and defeat the purpose.
Care: Rinse thoroughly in fresh water after each session, paying special attention to the hood seal area. Hang dry inside-out in shade, away from heat sources. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or store wet or folded.

Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.

Some items require special handling and do not qualify for free shipping or standard prepaid rates. These may include, but are not limited to:

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.

Tracking
