The OAM Kei Kobayashi Signature Traction Pad is a high-performance 3-piece tail pad designed in collaboration with professional surfer Kei Kobayashi. Built on On A Mission's patented Animal Grip EVA texture system — engineered to create a firm wall for maximum foot retention — this pad delivers the grip, arch support, and kick geometry Kei demands for powerful surfing in any conditions.
- Animal Grip Pattern: OAM's patented EVA texture creates a firm wall underfoot for maximum foot retention through powerful bottom turns, snaps, and aerial maneuvers
- High Kick: Aggressive tail kick for decisive back-foot reference on steep drops and critical direction changes — essential for Kei's power surfing style
- High Arch Bar: Pronounced arch for reliable foot placement and efficient pressure distribution into the tail through all phases of a turn
- 3-Piece Design: Standard tail configuration that fits most shortboard shapes — adjustable placement for different tail widths and stance preferences
- Adhesive: 3M pressure-sensitive adhesive for a secure, permanent bond to fiberglass, epoxy, and carbon boards
Installation: Clean tail with isopropyl alcohol and allow to fully dry before application. Press from center outward and allow 24 hours cure time for maximum adhesion strength.
Care: Rinse with fresh water after sessions. Scrub grip surface with a stiff brush to maintain traction performance and remove wax residue.

Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Domestic Shipping
We currently offer shipping within the United States.
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.
Oversized Items
Some items require special handling and do not qualify for free shipping or standard prepaid rates. These may include, but are not limited to:

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.

Delivery Times

Tracking
