The STEP-DRIVER is our flagship high-performance Step-Up, designed directly with our elite team, for competing on the World Tour.
At the 2025 WSL Finals, in Fiji, both World #1, Yago Dora and World #2, Griffin Colapinto, rode StepDrivers. Griffin winning multiple heats to a career best Runner Up finish, finally succumbing to Yago, who won his maiden World Title.

Developed specifically with our elite team, the STEP-DRIVER is a board that all our top- level surfers have been riding in comps, while traveling, or surfing solid waves at home, for the last couple of years. Simply put, the STEP-DRIVER is a high-performance step-up, derived from the Driver 2.0.and Driver 3.0.

Designed for the highest level of performance surfing, where critical maneuvers and tube riding meet. Meant to be ridden 1-2” (or more if customized) longer, similar width and a bit thicker, than a Driver, F-1, or similar high performance board.
The STEP-DRIVER provides seamless transition from your everyday board, without sacrificing performance for control. Tested and proven in powerful surf around the world, by WCT surfers such as Olympic Champions, Carissa Moore and Caroline Marks. Gabby Bryan’s 3 event wins, in 2025, all came on StrpDrivers. Many high profile exploits by Griffin Colapinto, including his “Impossible foam ball ride, at The Box, his Perfect 10 air, at Margaret’s and the all around performance he put on at J-Bay and Cloudbreak, were all on a StepDriver, making it a one stop shop, for the needs of our entire team and anyone who wants to rip when it’s solid.

The STEP-DRIVER allows surfers to ride larger, more powerful and more challenging waves, as if they were head high and playful, on a board that is usually only 1-2” longer than their everyday board..
