The Futures Controller Alpha is a split-keel quad set built for wide-tail fish designs — made in Huntington Beach from Bureo NetPlus recycled fishing nets with Compound 6 carbon air-infused construction for explosive drive and control at top speed.

- Pivot template — optimized for tight turns with a loose, responsive character (Balanced Ride Number: 8.3)
- X-Large sizing — recommended for surfers 165 lbs and over
The Alpha construction's carbon-and-air matrix delivers a lively, responsive feel that's lighter than standard fiberglass. In a wide-tail fish, the Controller Alpha's keel spread generates direct drive off the bottom while the upright rear fin keeps things skatey through the top — built for punchy small waves where you want to go fast without locking in.
Sizing & Fit: X-Large Quad — best for surfers 165 lbs and over. Designed specifically for wide-tail fish shapes. If you're under 165 lbs or on a narrower tail, consider stepping down to the Large Quad size in the Controller range.
Care: Rinse in fresh water after each session. Inspect the fin base for nicks or cracks before surfing. Store out of direct sunlight to prevent warping of the fin base.

Order Processing
Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.

Domestic Shipping
We currently offer shipping within the United States.
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.
Oversized Items
Some items require special handling and do not qualify for free shipping or standard prepaid rates. These may include, but are not limited to:

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.

Delivery Times

Tracking
