The FCS Al Merrick PC Twin+1 XL Fins bring Channel Islands' shaping philosophy into fin design — a collaboration template tuned for Al Merrick's board outlines, in PC (Performance Core) construction, for surfers who want speed, drive, and versatility from a twin+1 setup.

- Al Merrick Signature Template — designed in collaboration with legendary shaper Al Merrick to complement Channel Islands board outlines; balanced between projection and pivot with a rake optimized for CI's typical mid-tail widths
- Twin+1 Configuration — includes two side fins plus a center trailer fin; run as a twin for maximum speed and looseness, or drop in the trailer for added hold and drive in overhead conditions
- Performance Core (PC) Construction — honeycomb core wrapped in fiberglass delivers a light, lively flex pattern with more response than standard fiberglass; slightly softer than carbon, providing excellent feel feedback through turns
- XL Size — larger template suited for surfers 190 lbs+ or surfers who prefer maximum drive in powerful conditions regardless of their weight
- FCS II Compatibility — tool-free snap-in installation for FCS II fin boxes; no fin key required
The twin+1 setup is one of the most versatile configurations in surfing — it gives you the pure speed and skate of a twin with the option to add the trailer fin when conditions demand more hold. Al Merrick's template input means these fins are particularly well-dialed for Channel Islands boards, though they work equally well in any FCS II-compatible board with mid-width tail dimensions.
Sizing Guide: XL recommended for surfers 190 lbs and above. Heavier surfers or those surfing powerful waves will benefit most from the XL's additional drive.
Compatibility: FCS II fin system only. Sold as a complete 3-fin twin+1 set.

Domestic Shipping
We currently offer shipping within the United States.
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.
Oversized Items
Some items require special handling and do not qualify for free shipping or standard prepaid rates. These may include, but are not limited to:

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.

Delivery Times

Tracking
