The O'Neill Mutant Legend 4/3+ is for surfers who refuse to stop when the mercury drops. An elite cold-water fullsuit with an integrated modular hood system, the Mutant Legend is engineered for the harshest lineups — delivering the warmth of a hooded suit with the versatility to convert to a standard collar when conditions allow.
The defining feature of the Mutant Legend is its Modular Closure System — an interchangeable design that lets you swap between the integrated hood and a standard collar depending on the day. The Dual-Cinch Anti-Flush neck seals against flush in both configurations. Wind-Proof Smoothskin panels on exposed areas block convective heat loss out of the water. Contortionist Seamless Shoulder paneling eliminates seam bulk through the paddle zone for unrestricted arm movement. LAD (Lumbar Anti-Drain) technology prevents lower-back water entry. Plasma Wrist and Ankle Seals create watertight closures at all four limb exits, and Fluid Seam Weld construction seals every seam against intrusion. Premium TB3X and TB3 neoprene keep you surfing in water temps from 48–58°F.

Sizing: O'Neill wetsuits run true to surf sizing. Refer to the O'Neill size chart and prioritize a snug fit through the torso — a properly fitted wetsuit should feel firm but not restrictive. With a hooded suit, ensure the hood lies flush against your face without pulling the neck or restricting head movement.
Care: Rinse thoroughly with fresh water after each use. Hang to dry inside-out away from direct sunlight. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or use hot water. Store flat or on a wide hanger to preserve neoprene shape.

Domestic Shipping
We currently offer shipping within the United States.
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.
Oversized Items
Some items require special handling and do not qualify for free shipping or standard prepaid rates. These may include, but are not limited to:

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.
