The Firewire Groove Helium Surfboard 5'10 34L is Rob Machado's highest-performance shape — a mid-length that combines elevated nose and tail rocker with a thinned foil and narrowed squash tail for surfers ready to push into critical, pocket-heavy surfing at a versatile volume.
Wave Type: Excels in a wide range of conditions, from everyday beach breaks to overhead point breaks. Rob says it "all the time" — in his Ventura sessions, a reef in Hawaii, and Florida beach breaks. Recommended in 1–6' surf across average to good conditions.
Board Features: More rocker than Rob's other designs, with a thinned foil and narrowed tail block that sharpen sensitivity and rail engagement. A cute squash tail adds a touch more release through turns compared to a round tail. Rob tapped into his 90s performance DNA here — fast, floaty, and fun in all conditions while still delivering responsive pocket surfing.
Helium Core: Stringerless EPS core with flex controlled at the rails by Paulownia and Balsa wood — light and lively underfoot, generating speed effortlessly in everyday waves.
Sizing: 5'10" x 34L suits surfers approximately 145–175 lbs (66–79kg). Works as a performance mid-length or an experienced surfer's everyday driver. Fins not included.
Care: Rinse with fresh water after each session. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and sharp impacts on the rails.

Free standard shipping is available on orders over $100, excluding surfboards and other oversized items.
Shipping rates for orders under $100, expedited methods, and oversized items are calculated at checkout.

Surfboard Shipping
Surfboards are excluded from free shipping and may require additional shipping, packaging, and handling charges due to size and freight requirements.
Because surfboards are fragile oversized items, delivery times may vary and extra transit protection may be required. Any surfboard-specific shipping charges will be shown at checkout or coordinated separately if needed.
